THE STORY

The feature film revolves around a son and his wife who come into possession of a plantation passed down from his father, along with two enslaved women. Despite the son's initial intentions to make the plantation thrive, his abusive behavior towards his wife, excessive drinking, and inappropriate relationships with the enslaved women lead to complications, especially for the child of one of the enslaved women. 

As the son manages the plantation, he strives to ensure its success and profitability. However, his family history of controlling behavior, promiscuity, alcohol abuse, and mistreatment of women, including his wife, casts a shadow over his efforts to run the plantation smoothly. 

The plantation owner's wife forms a bond with one of the enslaved women, allowing them to participate in organizing social gatherings and events. This closeness exposes her to the struggles and hardships faced by the pregnant enslaved woman. Moved by compassion, the plantation owner's wife decides to support and befriend the enslaved woman, witnessing firsthand the dynamics within the household. 

Over time, the plantation owner's wife grows weary of the abuse and mistreatment prevalent in the household and his family and seeks assistance to address these issues. Having witnessed the injustices and suffering endured by the enslaved women, she reaches a breaking point. She takes a stand against the oppressive behavior she has seen, determined to bring about change and justice in the plantation's environment and the enslaved women.
